Clinical Services

Substance Use Treatment

Family Recovery Center (FRC) provides an array of services designed to meet the individual needs of those with substance use concerns. Services are provided in group and individual sessions. We treat adolescents and adults.

Individual counseling involves one-on-one sessions with a licensed clinician. You and your clinician will create a personalized treatment plan that will determine the frequency and duration of your treatment.

Research has shown that group treatment is most beneficial for those with substance use concerns. Family Recovery Center offers an array of group services to meet the various needs of our clients. Our groups include:

  • Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
  • Substance Abuse Treatment Program (SATP)
  • Relapse Prevention
  • Aftercare
  • 12 Step Educational Group
  • Rethinking Our Anger Responses (ROAR)
  • Parenting
  • MAT Program
  • Family Night (for family members of current clients)

Youth and Young Adult

Family Recovery Center knows that substance use can often begin in adolescence, whether through experimentation, peer pressure, or to cope with unwanted feelings. We provide not only prevention-based services, but services designed specifically for youth who may already be using substances. Our programs include:

  • Juvenile Anger Management (JAM)
  • The Edge (Ages 13-17)
  • Start Thinking, Avoid Risk Taking (START) Ages 18-25

Mental Health Services

Family Recovery Center offers individual counseling for those dealing with issues such as anxiety, sadness, irritability, or stress from work, relationships, health issues, or just life in general. We treat individuals age 3 and up. Our licensed clinicians will work with you to create a personalized treatment plan to help you meet your mental health goals.

Our licensed clinicians are trained in various types of treatment such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Family Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR). Ask your clinician which might be best for you.

Cost should never be an issue when receiving services at Family Recovery Center. We accept Medicaid, most commercial insurances, self-pay, and are able to help those who are under-insured, or have no insurance or income, with the help of our local mental health and recovery services boards.
