Long-term sobriety requires on-going, multi-disciplinary treatment and a strong support network. Family Recovery Center provides care and support through powerful, convenient programs that help clients learn to fully integrate recovery in their day-to-day lifestyles.

Family Recovery Center has a wide array of services that are carried out. If you are in need of help, we got you covered.

Outpatient Treatment

Family Recovery Center (FRC) provides an array of services designed to meet the individual needs of those with substance use concerns. Services are provided in group and individual sessions.

Medication Assisted Treatment

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is the use of medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a whole-patient approach to the treatment of substance use disorders.

Recovery Housing

Family Recovery Center Recovery Housing (RH) provides housing for recovering men and women to work on the development of and the implementation of substance abuse recovery goals, establish long-term sobriety and independence.

Prevention and Education

Family Recovery Center’s Education Department strives to build resiliency in our youth, to educate the community about substance use and mental health, and to promote protective factors that will lead to community level change.

Trainings

Family Recovery Center offers trainings for workplaces and individuals.

Driver Intervention Program

Steering Clear is a 72-Hour Education Class hosted on a bi-monthly basis for first time OVI offenders ordered by a court.

Family Recovery Center Does

Drug addiction has touched nearly every person in our community. We are in the midst of an epidemic of substance abuse and overdoses that is unprecedented. New programs have been added to serve those struggling with drug and alcohol addictions and/or mental health issues, and locations in both Columbiana and Jefferson Counties provide necessary access to those in need of services. 

Family Recovery Center is a non-profit corporation which is licensed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

Everyone has a vested interest

It isn’t really hard to see some things, like why children and youth spend so much time on the Internet. Look around the room. What is everyone doing? At home, at a restaurant? When you have a family gathering, are cell phones collected and put in a basket to be retrieved on your way out the door again after the gathering, like collecting everyone’s car keys when they arrive at your house for a party that will include alcohol beverages? Maybe it should be a thing to do when everyone gets home from work and school at the end of the day.

Back in 1999 I was working full time. I truly enjoyed my job. I honed my writing skills there, and my editing skills. I was afforded opportunities to meet people, write their stories and see them published in the newspapers for whom I worked.
